Plexi-Fabrication is a totally custom process of manufacturing signage with acrylic sheets. Most signs are designed with acrylic. If the sign isn't metal or photopolymer, acrylic is a great material to use. We can paint it, edge finish it, bevel the edges, drill & tap, countersink screws into them, apply braille, apple tactile for raised letters and graphics and apply vinyl to these constructions. Since VLS Graphics does all of the manufacturing, the designer can get as creative as they like. Some examples of our plexi-fabrication can be seen here. Our most popular items are Holders and Nameplates.
This is an example of Plexi-Fabrication. The top part of the sign is photopolymer with grade II braille translation. The bottom part of the sign is designed for an acrylic insert.
This is an example of Plexi-Fabrication and Metal-Fabrication. The top of the sign is a piece of acrylic that is silk-screened with a design. The bottom part is photopolymer (which could also be tactile if desired) and the slider is clear acrylic with polished edges. The backplate is aluminum and holds the entire slider together.
